I have been a German Shepherd Dog enthusiast my entire life. I fell in love with my First German Shepherd by the name of "Lucky" when I was about 10 - 11 years old. I have very fond memories of her waiting patiently at the bus stop to accompany me and my sisters home safely. She was my very first "Guardian Angel on Earth."
I have been working with German Shepherd Dogs since I acquired my first working dog back in 1988. I was introduced to the sport of "Schutzhund" at that time. Prior to that I had some exposure to basic obedience training and introduction to the AKC ring.
As a breeder of quality German Shepherd dogs we strive for excellent conformation, temperament and the drive to work.

My husband was a Deputy Sheriff in San Mateo County. Like me, he has owned and loved German Shepherd dogs for years. While on the force, he became close friends with his partner, who introduced us to his wife, Nicole McDevitt.
Nicole and I quickly became close friends and realized that we shared an affinity for owning and training German Shepherds. Prior to meeting Nicole, and with the help of my good friend Rita Ledda, my dog Xumi had 2 litters ("A" Litter and "B" Litter), from which I kept 1 puppy from each: Ando and Baroness Cleo. With these litters, our kennel Vom Haus Warden was born.
Nicole, Rita, and I proceeded to train our dogs together for years. In 2009, Nicole's male, Tasso Von Linderhoff SchH 2, sired a litter of 9 puppies with my female, Baroness "Cleo" Vom Haus Warden AD, SchH 1 ("C" Litter). From this litter, my husband kept Casso Vom Haus Warden and Nicole kept Cisa Vom Haus Warden. Our next litter, from Cleo and Faro Vom Zeltweg, brought us one of our current males, Dusty.
In 2015, we bred Nicole's dam Cisa Vom Haus Warden BH to Aladin vom Bergmannsland V81 BSZS and got our "E" Litter, Enzo and Eli. Eli went home with Rita!
Our next litter, the "F" Litter brought us 7 beautiful puppies! Nicole and I each kept a female from this litter, which was between Cisa Vom Haus Warden BH and Cobra d'Ulmental 2x VA1 USA. I kept Fiona Vom Haus Warden and Nicole kept Faya "Tink" Vom Haus Warden.
The history and trajectory of our line is very important to us. In addition to loving all of our dogs like family, we are dedicated to training them to be excellent representations of the German Shepherd breed. Continuing our line allows us to not only produce high-quality German Shepherds, but also to feel closer to the dogs we've loved and lost over the years.
My passion for the breed is evidenced by my commitment to upholding the "Standard" of the German Shepherd Dog through a breeding program which promotes desirable traits, exceptional conformation and intelligence.
These same principals were followed many years ago in Germany where the German Shepherd Dog evolved and molded into the magnificent animal we know today. In 1889 the "Father of the Breed" Max Von Stephanitz, began a crusade to standardize the Shepherd. His motto for the breed was, "Utility and intelligence." He drew up a standard based on mental stability and utility. "Beauty in itself, was not stressed, but a natural bi-product of this standard."
